The Foundation Museum and Documentation Centre of Deportation and Resistance is in Prato (Figline) in Via di Cantagallo no. 250.

By public transport

Prato is about is about 20 minutes by train from Florence and has two train stations, Prato Centrale and Prato Porta al Serraglio. You will then need to reach the museum by bus.

From Prato Centrale, take the bus “Lam Rossa” towards Galceti. Alight at the stop Sette Marzo 2 and walk approx. 800 metres uphill to the museum, or alight at the stop Sette Marzo 4 and take bus no. 12 to Figline, which stops almost in front of the museum. If you choose the second option it is advisable to check the timetable of the two bus lines for connections.

From Prato Porta al Serraglio walk approx. 600 metres to Piazza San Domenico, not far from the Cathedral in the old town centre, and take bus no. 12 to Figline. The bus runs approx. every 40 minutes, Monday to Saturday.
